NASAAN is about to blow up the scene with his upcoming project, “ERROR 404”, dropping next month. But before then, he unleashed a powerful new single, “GOATED”, featuring his mentor Royce da 5’9” – and the video hits hard for Eminem fans.

Directed by NASAAN himself, the clip features a special tribute to his late father, Proof. In a scene mirroring Eminem’s iconic 1999 MTV News freestyle, NASAAN recreates the vibe of that classic video, paying homage to the Detroit legends. The line “My daddy like, ‘Boy, don’t blow my assist’, I got it” takes on a whole new meaning in this context.

The release date itself holds significance. “GOATED” dropped on April 11th, exactly 18 years since Proof tragically passed away. The video’s runtime of 3:13 adds another layer to this heartfelt tribute.

But “GOATED” isn’t just about honouring the past. This track is poised to dominate the airwaves this year. NASAAN just landed a massive four-month licensing deal with ESPN and the NBA, reports Complex. Expect to hear “GOATED” bumping during the playoffs and other NBA events all season long.

Get ready for the full force of “ERROR 404,” which will be released on May 31st via Assemble Sound and Atlantic Records.
