In a new XXL feature, the Florida rapper opened up about what he would ask Em if they ever met. And it is not just a selfie or a collab request. Nardo would actually want Eminem to sit down and give him real feedback on one of his own songs.
If I was in a room with Eminem. I’d probably ask him to listen to my song ‘Drew’ and give me his honest opinion on it. I came up with the idea for my song ‘Drew’ from Eminem’s song ‘Stan.’ It was inspired by it because I always thought it was real creative to make that type of song to paint a picture like that, and I wanted to try it and see if I could do it.
It is not the first time Nardo has credited Eminem as a major influence. He said earlier that Em might be the only artist who could leave him starstruck despite already having met Drake without flinching. Nardo also shared how much Em’s catalogue means to him:
[My favourite song] is probably “Rap God” or “Lose Yourself”. I might be on “Mockingbird”. Or “Stan”. I like a lot of that shit.
Looks like if that “no filter” convo ever happens, it would be full of respect and bars.
