Another recommendation from Eminem’s playlist. Marshall introduced this track from 1991 debut album of Canadian/American hip-hop group Main Source as an exemplary work in production. And a debut for Nas.

Explaining why he included in his “Music To Be Quarantined By” playlist, Marshall said:

This next group and the rapper I wanna talk about had an album called “Breaking Atoms”. To me, it was one of the most important albums in hip-hop because not only Large Professor was extremely skilled but the way it was produced, the way it was put together. And you had one of the greatest MCs of all time to make his debut on a song on that album. But it’s not just that song that’s crazy, the entire album is such a fucking classic album. If you haven’t heard it you should get back and listen to it. Because that was also the time when the world was introduced to Nas.

Eminem was talking about a track called “Live At The Barbeque”:

.
