Eminem Terrified As Daughter Begins Dating Man Raised On His Music

Many fans noticed that credits to Eminem’s album “Music To Be Murdered By” and “Darkness” video have changed.

Now they look like this: “© 2020 Marshall B. Mathers III, under exclusive license to Interscope Records”, while in the previous year they looked like this: “© Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records, Shady Records”.

Our liaison at Universal explained what that means. There is nothing to worry about. Eminem is still signed to Interscope Records that is part of Universal Music Group. This particular type of copyright is used when artists do not transfer all their rights to a label. The label distributes content, in this case it is “Music To Be Murdered By”, but does not hold an ownership of it. It might sound confusing to the people outside of the industry but we hope that we have managed to explain it.
