When it comes to dominating the Billboard 200, Eminem stands tall among a select group of artists who have spent extensive time at No. 1.

Marshall is officially in a super exclusive club on the Billboard 200 chart, according to the list Billboard has published. Since the chart started in 1956, only 19 artists have spent 30 or more weeks at the No. 1 spot. And only two rap artists have done it – Eminem and Drake. That puts Shady in legendary company, right up there with icons like The Beatles and Elvis Presley.

Eminem’s personal tally stands at an impressive 35 weeks at No. 1. Fun fact: this put him tied with the one and only Prince.

Marshall’s first album hit the top way back on June 10, 2000, and he was still seeing No. 1s as recently as July 27, 2024, with his most recent “The Death of Slim Shady” release. Em’s longest run at the top was with “The Marshall Mathers LP”, holding the spot for eight weeks in 2000.

This impressive total includes his greatest hits album, “Curtain Call: The Hits”. Some other No. 1s, like the 8 Mile soundtrack and D12’s albums, do not count towards his solo total. But no matter how you look at it, Eminem’s significant presence and consistent impact on the Billboard 200 are clear.
