On a day when Eminem gets inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, his fourth studio album breaks into the 3 billion streams territory.

Released in May 2000, “The Marshall Mathers LP” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, staying atop for eight consecutive weeks. It was surrounded by controversy, but now it is regarded as Eminem’s best album.

With over 25 million copies sold worldwide, MMLP is one of the best-selling albums of all time. The RIAA certified the album Diamond in 2011 and then updated the certification to 11x platinum in March 2022.
