On his fresh Deluxe edition of “Music to Be Murdered By – Side B”, Marshall laments black deaths caused by police.

Marshall has always been particularly sensitive to social injustuce in the US. With police violence and institutional racism raising public concerns even higher over the last decade, Eminem keeps being vocal about these issues in his songs.

Oh his track “Zeus”, Marshall namedrops some of the victims of police violence:

R.I.P. Laquan McDonald, Trayvon, and Breonna
Atatiana, Rayshard, and Dominique
Eric Garner and Rodney King

Disquieted by racial inequality, he follows the line proposed in his recent collaboration with Kid Cudi “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady”, where he mourns over George Floyd & Ahmaud Arbery’s early departures.
