And yes, streaming counts. Single certifications are based on digital downloads; 500 streams are equal to one download. So, this certification makes sense, as “Love the Way You Lie” is Marshall’s sixth most streamed song on Spotify, with over 1.4 billion streams earned. Also, San Paolo, Brazil, is the third city in terms of the number of Eminem’s monthly listeners.
