Eminem’s iconic track “Lose Yourself” has officially hit 2.5 billion streams on Spotify, adding another milestone to its legendary status.

For years, “Lose Yourself” was Eminem’s most-streamed song on the platform until “Without Me” overtook it in October 2024. Despite this, the 8 Mile anthem remains one of the most decorated songs in hip hop history.

Originally released in 2002, “Lose Yourself” became Eminem’s first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single, holding the top spot for 12 consecutive weeks. It also topped the charts in 19 other countries and became the first hip hop song to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The track later earned Grammy Awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Solo Performance.

“Lose Yourself” remains one of Eminem’s most critically acclaimed tracks, even earning a spot on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list in 2004 — one of only three rap songs from the 21st century to make the cut at the time. And it wad ranked the highest of all three.

With over a million Spotify streams coming in every day, “Lose Yourself” shows that more than two decades later, it is still inspiring listeners worldwide.
