Hip hop legend LL Cool J played Hip Hop’s Fast 5 questions on morning television and revealed some of his preferences that cheered Eminem’s fans up.
LL Cool J is one of the most vocal Eminem supporters in the culture. They share mutual respect, business, and the influence over the genre. Actually, it was LL, who recommended Eminem to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame minutes after he was inducted himself. And performed on stage together with Marshall. So, there is nothing surprising that he holds the Eminem music in high regard and talks about it even on casual TV shows.
So, when asked to chose his favourite video of all time, LL Cool J shot back with “Mama Said Knock You Out”. Having successfully plugged himself, on a more serious note he mentioned Em’s “Lose Yourself”, a video that you will not find on Em’s official YouTube channel but which is worth looking up.
In terms of collaborators it would be DMX because I introduced him to the world. Eminem because he is one of collaborators on my new record, you haven’t heard this song. Method Man because I just like working with him, he did a great job on “4321” and other few others. And then Biggie. We did “Flava in Ya Ear”.
