A rising R’n’B star Jhené Aiko was ambushed with a Top 5 question and gave a bulletproof answer.
DJ Khaled invited her to his Amazon Music podcast “The First One” and when the conversation reached this point of naming Top 5 — and she was asked to do it twice, one Top 5 for rappers and another for singers — Jhené was visibly distressed. We know how much fans like to pick these answers apart and overanalyse the influences behind them and how easily they get angry when they do not see their favourites there. But the Top 5 that Jhené offered consists of undisputable legends and overachievers, it would be difficult to come at her for this choice:
Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
