Marshall’s new single is soaring towards topping the UK Singles Chart for the 11th time.

Based on weekend sales data (excluding Sunday’s streaming numbers), “Houdini” has racked up a massive 35,259 units, putting it 12,000 units ahead of its closest competitor, “Espresso”. This is a phenomenal lead, and it positions “Houdini” for a potential chart domination come Friday.

It seems the UK fans have been waiting for Marshall’s new track with bated breath. The UK was among the first countries to catapult ‘Houdini’ to No.1 on both the Spotify and Apple Songs charts. Now, with digital sales factored in, it’s poised to impact the Official Charts UK ranking significantly.

This potential chart win would mark Eminem’s 11th UK No.1 single. By the way, here is the list of a few artists who have ten or more No.1 UK singles:

21 Elvis Presley
18 The Beatles
14 Cliff Richard, Ed Sheeran, Westlife
13 Madonna
12 Take That
11 Calvin Harris
10 Eminem, Elton John

Unsurprisingly, Em is the only rapper on this list. And surprisingly, he is about to break the tie with his friend and AA mentor Elton John.

It is too early to celebrate, though. The week is not over yet. And while we see that “Houdini” gains more streams on all major streaming platforms each day, we better keep pushing by streaming, buying, and requesting “Houdini” on the radio. The new UK Top 40 is coming in three days.
