With the lead single for the upcoming “The Death of Slim Shady”, Marshall scored the biggest global streaming debut of his career on Spotify. And he is aiming for more.

The stars were aligned when Eminem dropped his new single. Hungry fans and curious general audience flocked to their streaming platforms of choice, and “Houdini” picked up the pace quickly.

“Houdini” was the top new track on both Spotify and Apple Music U.S. on release day (May 31). It also broke into the prestigious Top 5 on both Spotify and Apple Music US charts. Now, charting at No.1 on Apple Music in more than 20 countries and at No.3 on the Spotify Global chart, “Houdini” is on track to log 20-25 million streams in its first week in the US alone.

But Em’s aiming even higher – projections suggest “Houdini” could surpass 45 million streams in its opening week, making it his biggest U.S. single streaming week this decade, surpassing the reign of “Godzilla” feat. Juice Wrld.

Let’s keep the ball rolling until this new record is safely in Eminem’s pocket.
