The success of “Houdini” continues, as Eminem’s TDOSS lead single is now officially Platinum in Belgium, joining six other countries on the list.
Eminem’s “Houdini” is still racking up certifications, with Belgium becoming the latest country to award the track Platinum status. With this, the lead single from “The Death of Slim Shady” has now reached Platinum in seven countries: Austria, Canada (3× Platinum), New Zealand, Poland (2× Platinum), Switzerland, the UK, and now Belgium.
In Belgium, Platinum status is awarded for 40,000 units sold for international songs, meaning “Houdini”, twice as much as what is expected from local artists.
Meanwhile, in the US, while the track is already eligible for Platinum certification, fans may be waiting a while for an official update. Eminem’s management is known for rarely refreshing certifications, with the last batch happening in 2022. Until then, “Houdini” keeps shining on the global stage, adding to Eminem’s long list of international hits.
