Shady’s latest single jumped six slots up since yesterday and is now charting within the Top 50 of the Billboard Radio Songs Chart.
“Houdini” has already reached an audience of 20 million, 1.92 million of which it added yesterday. That’s the second biggest growth in the audience after Jelly Roll’s “I Am Not Okay” (2.14 million). All other songs on a positive trend didn’t shift more than 2 points up.
While the track’s streams and sales went down, as expected, during its fourth week of release, radio spins went up, exposing more people to Marshall’s new music and keeping the song in public view.
It also means that the anticipation for “The Death of Slim Shady” is growing. People are waiting for Eminem’s new era to bloom.
