Marshall’s chart-topping track “Houdini” continues its incredible run, landing on Apple Music’s playlist of the year’s best songs.
“Houdini” has just been added to Apple Music’s Today’s Hits: Best of 2024 playlist, confirming its place as one of the year’s standout tracks. The song, released alongside a cinematic music video, has been a global powerhouse since its debut.
“Houdini” stormed the charts upon release, topping the Billboard Global 200 and dominating rankings in countries like the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. In the United States, the track debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 with impressive first-week stats: 48.8 million streams and 49,000 copies sold. This marked Eminem’s highest-charting single in a decade and his 23rd career Top 10 hit.
In the UK, “Houdini” made history with a stellar debut at No. 1, achieving Eminem’s best first-week performance there since 2002’s “Without Me.” It also became his first solo chart-topper in Britain since “Like Toy Soldiers” nearly 20 years ago.
Australia also celebrated the track’s success as it became Eminem’s first chart-topper in over a decade and his eighth No. 1 single in the region.
Adding to its milestones, “Houdini” broke into the US Alternative Airplay chart — his first appearance there in 22 years since “Lose Yourself”.
Now, with a slot on Apple Music’s Today’s Hits: Best of 2024, “Houdini” continues to prove why it is one of the year’s biggest musical moments.
