Eminem’s daughter shares some hilarious behind-the-scenes moments from her dad’s epic 2024 MTV VMAs performance.
In a recent episode of the Just A Little Shady podcast, Hailie Jade took a fun stroll down memory lane, discussing awkward moments from the MTV Video Music Awards and more. During the conversation, Hailie also touched on Eminem’s much-talked-about opening performance at the 2024 MTV VMAs, where he performed “Houdini” and “Somebody Save Me” from his latest album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)”.
Reflecting on the moment when Eminem brought out a group of Slim Shady lookalikes (just like in his iconic 2001 performance), Hailie shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes story.
The funny part was when that was going on, Alaina was also here watching with us, and she was like, “You should do that for Halloween!” Like, get a blonde wig and put on a beard. Then our other friend was here, and he’s like, “You look just like him. You should’ve been on the stage”. I was like, thank you, thanks a lot. So, that’s up in the air. Maybe I’ll do it and dress like that for one of the Halloween episodes. That’d be hilarious.
It’s clear that Hailie and her family had a blast at the VMAs and enjoyed seeing Eminem’s iconic performance up close.
