The record announced earlier this week by Shady Records is here and it’s something not to miss.
Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher join their forces as Griselda, the track they dropped today is credited to that name. The track is called “Dr. Bird’s”. Apparently, the title references Jamaican Doctor Bird’s bodega in Buffalo, where all three members are from. The entire track is the ode to the reality of their neighbourhood, unmistakeably located in New York and rooted in hip-hop street culture. The front of this bodega is featured on the single’s cover.
This single promotes their Shady records debut album “What Would ChineGun Do”, which is set to be released on November 29.
