GRIP steps back into the spotlight with “Binky”, hinting at what’s to come for his next chapter.

A brand new single is produced by and featuring Neal H. Pogue II, better known as TU!. The young producer is quickly making a name for himself, having recently worked with JID on “God Does Like Ugly”.

For GRIP, “Binky” is a milestone. After a run of features, this marks his first single as a lead artist since his 2022 project “5 & A Fuck You”. That release, as GRIP explained on the track “Many Thanks”, was put together in just a week while waiting for sample clearance on his official follow-up to “I Died For This!?”, his Shady Records debut from 2021.

On “Binky”, GRIP showcases how far he’s come, both lyrically and sonically. If this track is any indication, fans have plenty to look forward to from his next full release, even if his Shady Records contract is over.
