Eminem brought his sense of humour to the big screen with a surprise cameo in Adam Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore 2”, wowing the cast with his comedic skills.
Detroit’s own Eminem has made a surprise appearance in Adam Sandler’s “Happy Gilmore 2”, and he is impressing everyone on set with his cmedy talent. Filming on location in New Jersey, the rapper flew in quietly to shoot his scenes earlier this week for the Netflix sequel to Sandler’s 1996 golf comedy classic.
An insider told The US Sun that Eminem kept a low profile on set, arriving with no big entourage and impressing the cast and crew with his easygoing attitude. “Em is a big fan of the original movie, and he was a total pleasure to work with”, the source shared. “He was just super low key… and was just an absolute delight on set”.
The cast was also surprised by how naturally Eminem took to comedy, showing a talent that fans rarely see nowadays. “He has good comedic acting skills”, the insider noted. “He’s playing a comedic role and he really had fun with it”.
The cameo was a whirlwind appearance, with Eminem flying in the night before and wrapping up a one-day shoot by the following evening. Fans may recall that this is not the first time Eminem and Sandler have crossed paths on screen — they appeared together in “Funny People” in 2009, making this cameo a fitting reunion.
