This surprise release features contributions from Tyler, the Creator, Rick Ross, and Griselda’s Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine.

This is not just an MC’s project produced by The Alchemist, this is the joint effort and even its title is a word-play on the names of both participants. Cinematic Alchemist’s beats sound even grimier than on his “Lulu EP” with Conway the Machine and “The Price of Tea in China” with Boldy James. Deep pulsing bass lines add some anxious urgency to tracks like “Frank Lucas” featuring Benny the Butcher while southing soul beats contrast with the darkness of Gibbs’s lyrics.

At midnight on the day of release duo also dropped the video for the album opener “1985”:
