The second single from Dr. Dre’s “2001” album, “Forgot About Dre”, written by Eminem, has reached a new streaming milestone.
For Eminem, it is his 16th track to gain over 700 million streams on Spotify.
Not even that many for a song that won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2001.
On the other hand, the song, one of the most recognisable in the respective catalogues of both artists, is, shockingly, not certified by the RIAA and has never hit the Billboard Hot 100. Meanwhile, in the UK, the track has reached a double Platinum status in 2022.
