The Shady Records newcomer gave Eminem a major spotlight during his surprise set at the world’s biggest Hispanic rap battle event.
Ez Mil is not wasting any time making moves under the Shady Records banner. This weekend, he popped up as a special guest at the FMS (Freestyle Master Series) Internacional Finals, the world’s biggest Hispanic rap battle showdown, and delivered a set that doubled as a salute to his label boss, Eminem.
He opened with a nod to the legend himself, performing “Lose Yourself” before launching into “Realest”, his first official collab with Eminem from his debut Shady release. Addressing the crowd in between songs, Ez Mil emphasized just how much that partnership means to him and hinted that more is on the way.
Then came the surprise: a first look at the music video for “Head Honcho,” another collab with Em from “The Death of Slim Shady”, a sneak peek of an anime-style video he directed himself, proving he is not just a rapper but a creator with vision. Fans might not have expected that particular cut to get the spotlight, but this move is bound to keep Ez Mil’s momentum going.
“Head Honcho” might not have been the most streamed track off TDOSS, but if there is one thing we know by now — it is that Eminem always takes care of his own.
