“I’m going to beg him [Eminem] to get on our show,” Brian Grazer says.
Fox’s hit show Empire may feature a few very special guests during its second season.
Television and film producer Brian Grazer stopped by Good Morning America on Tuesday (April 7) morning to promote his new book, A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life.
In addition to speaking on his inquisitive new book, the Academy-Award winning producer shared some of his hopes and plans for season two of Empire, which his Imagine TV company produces.
“Eminem, I know, loves our show,” Grazer told the morning show hosts, according to Billboard. “I produced 8 Mile. I’m going to beg him to get on our show. He and Oprah Winfrey. Somehow I’m going to get one or both of them on our show.”
Grazer is hoping his previous connection – via 8 Mile – will work with landing Eminem, while Oprah has ties to Empire’s executive-producer Lee Daniels (The Butler).
Last season, Empire featured quite a few guest stars, including Raven Symone, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Courtney Love and Snoop Dogg.
