Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show Starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent has received five Emmy nominations.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences members have announced Emmy nominations, the most memorable and influential events that happened on TV between June 1, 2021, and May 31, 2022.
This award, if granted, might be the first for all artists involved. And one of the main nominations, Variety Special (Live), is the one that gives credit directly and primarily to performers. The other four nominations are more technical but are testimony to Dr. Dre’s production and direction genius: Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special, and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special.
The ROC Nation social media accounts have spread the news already:

Does it mean that, together with everything coming our way, we can also get another performance from Eminem and Dr. Dre at the award ceremony? The Emmys take place on Monday, September 12. The ceremony will be streamed live on NBC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
