Eminem and The Marshall Mathers Foundation have pledged to match up to $100,000 in donations given to Wolverine Human Services today. The non-profit organization, which has several locations in Michigan, offers aid to children ages 12-18 in need. The charitable act from Eminem comes on “#GivingTuesday,” a day recognized nationally that encourages individuals to support non-profit organizations that are positively helping their communities.
“We are vey excited and we are overwhelmed by the generosity from Eminem, The Marshall Mathers Foundation and people around the world,” says Kristen McCurry, development coordinator of Wolverine Human Services. “We know we are going to be able to do a lot of good for our kids.”
