Wearing a t-shirt with a huge Union Jack mask emblazoned on the front, Eminem was glad to be back in London tonight as he performed to 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.
And he brought the big guns – Dr Dre!
The audience went into a frenzy when the rapper stepped on stage for a number of duets, including Forgot About Dre, and he wasn’t the only special guest on the night, with a number of Eminem’s rapper pals coming out to join him.
Em told the crowd: “Hold on, let me take a minute to look at this God damn crowd, holy s**t! This is why I love London. Y’all so angry!” Then there was a LOT of swearing. He definitely shows Miley how it’s done when it comes to cursing at gigs.
The gig was moved to Wembley because of the “explicit lyrics” in his songs. Spoil sports. And he’s now the first rapper to headline a gig at the venue in north London.
The sold out concert saw fans lap up hits from Em’s massive back catalog, including The Way I Am, Stan (although Dido didn’t come out) and Without Me.
There were plenty of rumours before the gig that RiRi would be making an appearance, but sadly she didn’t show. Although, their hit Love The Way You Lie, which was dedicated to the women in the audience who had been in bad relationships, still went down a storm.
The star also performed a number of hits from his latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, including the incredibly fast Rap God and Berzerk. We’re glad Slim Shady is back!
There were plenty of explosions, a back story on Stan, and a terrific encore including his hit track Lose Yourself. Most people definitely lost their minds!
