M-Phazes—who just landed a major production placement with Eminem’s “Bad Guy” off the Marshall Mathers LP 2, which he produced with S1—has signed a global publishing deal, Billboard reports. The Australian producer has inked a contract with Universal Music Publishing Group Australia.
M-Phazes has had production work with Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch and Slaughterhouse in the past, and released his debut album Good Gracious in 2010. The new partnership will see the producer split his time between his native Australia, the U.S. and the U.K. in order to “engage M-Phazes on international projects,” according to Billboard. A new album is set to drop next year.
