Every time you’re looking to get that next rep up or run that extra mile, who do you go to on your iPod for that boost? Well, Billboard and Spotify named Eminem as the top artist with the best workout music for their ”The Beat That Moves Your Feet.” Among other genres including Dance, Rock, & Alternative Rock, Rap/HipHop landed at the top.

Their top three workout music artists were Eminem, Skrillex, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. From a list of 600 songs, Eminem had eight songs on there. Skrillex had six. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis had two. Eminem’s top song was “Till I Collapse” from his 2002 release, The Eminem Show. The top song Macklemore & Ryan Lewis was “Can’t Hold Us.”

Billboard provided a breakdown of the list with the following statement:

“In order to put this list together, we at Billboard asked Spotify and their data science wing the Echo Nest to poll their 24 million users, and the one-and-a-half billion playlists those users have created, to generate the top songs people place in their exercise-related digital mix tapes.”

Spotify made a playist featuring the top workout songs. Kanye West’s “Stronger” made the cut, as well as Jay Z and Linkin Park’s “Numb/Encore” collaboration.
