Eminem Dr Dre 2021

The final chart predictions are in, and they show that Dr. Dre and Eminem are the big winners this week.

Following last Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime performances, their albums experienced over a 200% boost and are expected to re-enter the Top 10 on this week’s Billboard 200 chart.

They are already charting high on the Hits Daily Double Top 50, a sure sign of how the albums will be ranked on the Billboard 200.

Eminem’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” is ranked at No.7, with 30,635 copies sold over the week. “Dr. Dre 2001” follows at No.8 with 30,274 sold units. The lion share of sales came from streaming as physical copies of both albums are now rather vintage souvenirs than reliable record store stock.

Another big gainer on the chart is Mary J. Blige, whose new album “Good Morning Gorgeous” has entered Hits Top 50 at No.14, right between YoungBoy NBA and Taylor Swift. Her album moved over 25,000 copies, and this time physical copies brought the artists more numbers than streaming services, first of all, because they were available for the public.
