Renowned composer Ludovico Einaudi has worked with many artists, but there is one surprising name at the top of his dream collaboration list — Eminem.
Ludovico Einaudi, the most-streamed classical artist of all time, is known for his soothing, cinematic piano compositions. But if he could team up with anyone for a collaboration, his choice might surprise you.
The Italian pianist shared in a recent interview with Classic FM:
I’d love to do a collaboration with Eminem. I have some experiences with rap music, and I think the two — my music with a voice like that — could work very well. It’s something that I’d love to do.
Einaudi’s signature style, inspired by everything from literature to nature, might seem worlds apart from Eminem’s razor-sharp lyricism. However, the composer sees potential in blending classical melodies with hip hop’s rhythmic energy.
With his newest album, “The Summer Portraits”, just released on Decca Records, fans can expect more of the introspective piano pieces that have made him a global favourite. And who knows — maybe one day, we’ll hear Einaudi’s melodies alongside Eminem’s bars.
