The BPI have officially certified “Drop The World” gold, giving Lil Wayne and Eminem another plaque for the wall.
It has been over 15 years since Lil Wayne dropped his album “Rebirth”, and now one of its standout tracks just earned a shiny new plaque in the UK. “Drop The World”, featuring Eminem, has officially been certified gold by the BPI, recognising over 400,000 units sold.
The track, known for its dark energy and lyrical intensity, brought together two rap giants at the top of their game. While Wayne delivered raw emotion, Eminem’s verse hit with machine-gun precision, and the song has clearly stood the test of time. It’s the first UK certification for this fan favourite, and another well-earned milestone for both artists.
