A new TV spot promoting NFL Drafts shows Eminem discussing his possible football career.
It is a running joke that Eminem eagerly offers his services to the Detroit Lions. At 5’8” (173 cm), Em’s a bit on the short side for the average NFL player, who typically clocks in around 6’2” and 245 lbs (188 cm and 111 kg). But dreams don’t have to follow the rulebook, right?
This new ad takes Marshall’s ambitions a step further. Em’s chatting with NFL CEO Roger Goodell about the upcoming draft, and of course, Em throws his hat in the ring for the QB position. So, Goodell had to school Em on the college route being a prerequisite for the big leagues. That dream gets shut down fast, leaving Em with a classic “Damn”.
Looks like Shady’s would have to hit the books if he is serious about switching to a new career path. Or maybe next year, Em can convince Goodell to rewrite the rules for a true Detroit legend.
