Eminem’s latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”, brings fans a sequel to one of his most iconic tracks filled with equally familiar beef.

The original “Guilty Conscience” from 1999 featured Eminem and Dr. Dre debating the morality of various actions, with Slim Shady pushing for chaos while Dre advocated for better decisions.

In “Guilty Conscience 2”, Eminem flips the script, transforming the track into a heated conversation between himself and his notorious alter ego, Slim Shady. The sequel dives deep into the internal struggle between Eminem’s rational side and his darker, more impulsive persona.

One line that has caught fans’ attention is a pointed jab at Ja Rule:

When I say, ‘Fuck midgets’, I mean Ja Rule.

This lyric is a clear reference to Eminem’s long-standing feud with Ja Rule, going back to the 2003 diss track “Hailie’s Revenge (Doe Rae Me)”, where Eminem rapped:

Choke the shit out you, you little motherfuckin’ midget.

It’s been a while since this feud was in the centre of everybody’s attention. But Em has a good memory and looks like he never forgives attacks on his family.

But also, as Eminem, before sending Slim Shady to his eternal rest, he says farewell to all the feuds he used to have:

Christopher, MGK, Nick, and for Limp Bizkit and them
Midgets and Ben—
‘Zino, in addition to him
Will Smith and to Canibus, if you’re listening, this is the end
So to Jamar and Ja Rule and to all
My feuds including ma
I’m welcoming you to my
Last hoorah, I bid you goodbye
