The first single from“The Death Of Slim Shady”, “Houdini”, was certified 2x Platinum in Canada.
To be precise, it was certified Gold, Platinum, and 2x Platinum all in one day. It means, the single had to formally climb the ranks but really, it didn’t take long, and the very first assessment shows that “Houdini” had moved over 160,000 units in Canada in seven weeks since release.
Meanwhile, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)” has sold over 40,000 album units nationwide in its first week, which warranted the Gold certificate from Music Canada’s Gold/Platinum Certification Program.
And, of course, “The Death of Slim Shady” is charting at No.1 in Canada.
