Detroit radio personality Thomas Carballo, better known as Mojo in the Morning, has weighed in on the recent rumours about Eminem and his longtime stylist, Katrina Malota. According to Mojo, there is no romance, only a long-standing professional relationship.
Mojo Says It’s Strictly Professional
On his show, Mojo addressed the speculation directly. He confirmed that Malota has worked with Eminem for years and is one of the most trusted members of his team.
“Katrina works for Eminem. She’s worked for Marshall for a very long time”, Mojo said. “She’s been probably one of his most trusted people who’s ever been around him”.
He explained that Malota was seen in a recent video simply doing her job during an event.
“She was working that night on the Adam Sandler show”, he continued. “If you noticed her in the background of the video, she is standing behind him as the hair person. She’s done this so many times!”
He Dismisses the TMZ Report
TMZ recently suggested that Eminem and Malota might be romantically involved. However, Mojo believes the outlet simply misread the situation.
“It could be just TMZ seeing the video and saying, ‘Who is that person?’ and doing a little Googling”, he said. “Or it could be someone on the inside who doesn’t like Katrina or Eminem and wants to cause trouble. Because [Eminem] doesn’t like rumours”.
A Reputation for Privacy and Professionalism
Mojo, who is also one of Malota’s clients and calls her a personal friend, praised her professionalism and discretion.
“She never talks to me about that guy. She’s so damn professional”, he said. “You look at that video and think they’re dating? I don’t get it”.
He added that she has accompanied Eminem to events for years as part of her job, not because of any personal relationship.

Still, the rumours show how eager fans are for any personal detail about Eminem. Yet, as Mojo pointed out, such speculation only makes Marshall more protective of his private life.
Given his long history of avoiding public discussions about relationships, it is no surprise he remains silent on the subject. If Eminem is dating someone, it is clear he intends to keep that part of his life far from the spotlight.
