On his new song “Tone Deaf” from M2BMB Marshall referenced D-Nice’s album and eponymous song released in 1991 :

On this album D-Nice, one of the pioneering hip hop MCs and producers who shaped the sound of the genre in the 1990s, collaborated with KRS-One and Naughty by Nature, the acts that Marshall holds in very high respect.
