The upcoming Conway’s Shady solo debut “From King To A God” is highly anticipated and Conway remembers to keep things interesting to the public.
Just recently Griselda’s MC introduced something that could be another version of an album cover art. This time it echoes a cover of “Pray for Paris”. In a manner similar to what Virgil Abloh used to rework Caravaggio’s classic for Westside Gunn, Conway uses “God Inviting Christ to Sit on the Throne at His Right Hand” by 17th-century Dutch painter Pieter de Grebber.
It still remains to be seen what Conway is going to use for his new album. We already know that his plans keep changing. For instance, recently premiered “Front Lines” inspired by protests that engulfed America as a response to another case of police brutality and racial injustice, was not even mentioned on a provisional “From King To A God” tracklist that features guest appearances from Drake, 2 Chainz, Freddie Gibbs and more.
