In his new special, “The Dreamer”, released on Netflix on New Year’s Eve, Dave Chappelle gives a nod to Eminem.
It is not as extensive this time as Dave’s famous 8 Mile parody from his original Dave Chappelle Show in 2004. This acknowledgement is more personal and highlights the relationship between a comedian and a rap star. It is a photo taken backstage at Chappelle’s show at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit that Eminem attended together with Royce, 5’9, and Mr. Porter in September 2023.
The version that slightly differs from the one shared earlier on social media made it to the end credit roll of the special. As far as celebrity testimonials go, this picture is worth more than words.
