It did not take much time for Benny the Butcher to react to Drake’s suggestion of them working together. Drake expressed his love to Griselda on his recent interview with “Rap Radar”:
I really like the fact that, you know, just that whole cliquing up Griselda shit is just ill to me.
A host laughingly suggested a joint with Benny but Drake was not going to back-pedal conforming:
I’m down, I’m down. I think what they’re doing is great, it just reminds me of just a different time, and it’s not easy to do, you know, to make that music and just come off wavy and be interesting. Even the label name, the tag it’s ill.
Naturally, Benny is not the one to miss the shot. On his Instagram he reposted the clip from Drake’s interview with a decisive caption:
