The last track on the new successful release of Griselda on Shady Records is the remix of “Bang”, the single recorded by Conway the Machine with Eminem. Now, when all Conway’s mates are also signed by Marshall, all Griselda members join Eminem on that track, adding their stories to that aggressive banger.
Benny the Butcher starts his verse with
Yeah, I was listenin’ to Stan with coke flippin’ in the pan
Benny mentioned before that he started rapping about the same time as he was dealing drugs, the practice that put him in jail that he was 14 years old. Now we know that one of the rappers that inspired him to take up music was Eminem. The history indeed came full circle, bring Benny to Eminem’s label.
Only one thing could have been more symbolic – their full-scale studio collaboration.
