Fans have discovered a never published before song in the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers database. Eminem is listed as a performer.
The song is titled “I Am So Successful”/”I Am Powerful”.
There are also five writers on the credits: Mark Batson, Trevor Ira Lawrence, Marshall B Mathers, Dawaun W Parker, and Andre Romell Young. Trevor Ira Lawrence a.k.a. TrevBeats is one of the best drummers and producers in hip hop who has been working on projects for Eminem and Dr. Dre for decades now. Mark Batson, a producer and a talented keyboard player, is also tightly connected with Dr. Dre’s creative team and has his name attached to Marshall’s albums starting with “Encore”. And, of course, Mr. Parker and Dr. Dre are the names we want to see next to Marshall’s.
The main issue is that it is impossible to tell when it was registered and even less so, when it was written and recorded. So, now part of the Eminem fandom gets their hopes high to listen to something new from the powerful creative duo while another part holds the belief that it is an old song, maybe a residue from the Relapse era, notoriously locked away from the public.
