After a recent Halloween scare, Hailie is easing Elliot Marshall into gentler autumn traditions.
Hailie is a well-known fan of autumn and Halloween celebrations. Last year, Elliot was too little to appreciate much of it. Now, in his second Halloween season, he can take part in much more.
Trying to beat the crowd, Hailie started autumn outings earlier than many and has already introduced the boy to a classic autumn destination in Michigan, a cider mill, where fresh apples are pressed into unfiltered, unsweetened, and non-alcoholic juice Americans call cider.
The visit went well, as Hailie shared in the latest episode of her podcast Just a Little Shady. LLittle Elliot is already showing his preferences as he discovers more of the world.
I took Elliot to Yates the weekend before this past weekend. The point is, no one was there, and it was a great experience. It was Elliot’s first cider mill experience where he could actually have cider and doughnuts. I fear he is not a sweets kid, so the doughnuts were not really for him. But that’s like his mama because I prefer salty over sweet. He did like the cider, though. He’s never had anything except water. So, this was big for him. I’m kind of proud he didn’t chug it down. I was nervous. But he was kind of reluctant about it. I’m sure that won’t last forever, but for now it is what it is.
The following Labour Day weekend, Hailie and Elliot spent time hanging out with their extended family. That, however, is not the kind of family moment she shares online. Like everything connected to her son and her father, Eminem, she keeps that part of her life under control, protecting both of them from unwanted attention.
