Eminem now has his first studio album with more than 10 billion Spotify streams.
This is a huge milestone for any catalogue, especially in hip hop, and especially for an album released in the pre-streaming era.
The project, forever in the record books as the hip hop second-highest-selling debut week (second to The Marshall Mathers LP), keeps doing just fine in the digital era. The Eminem Show earned about 3 million new streams yesterday, and that number pushed it into the rare class of albums that need two digits to count their billions.
