The cutest part of the wedding, Brittany said, was the ring bearer. Hailie had already shared that Elliott filled the role, and he handled it brilliantly. Now, we learn that his success came with a little help from Eminem.
It was the best. Technically, it’s Elliott’s second time being a ring bearer in his short life. But this time, he’s bigger. He took his first steps the week of the wedding. He was trying to prepare, but he wasn’t fully capable of walking down yet. So, for his birthday, my dad got him this little car that has a remote control. Then you can also do it without a remote control when they get bigger. It was perfect because now we can put him in there and remote him around. And we do. Every time we go to my dad’s, that’s what he likes to do.
So, when Brittany talked to me, you know, how do we want to do this? Do we want you to walk him down? Do we want someone to walk him down, like, Evan? What are we gonna do? But why don’t we put him in his little car? And it worked out so well!
Naturally, the entrance became one of the sweetest moments of the day, and very unusual. The guests loved it. Evan controlled the car remotely to make sure that his son was safe.
