Shady Records announced the Love Story 10th Anniversary Edition, released on two opaque turquoise vinyl long-play discs. The album marked its 10th anniversary last April. Even so, it only took hours for the stock to disappear.
Love Story
Just hours ago, the anniversary edition appeared in the official Shady Records store. It introduced Love Story as Yelawolf’s follow-up album to the 2011 Radioactive and praised Yela’s rapid-fire delivery, authentic storytelling, and country-rock influenced beats and instrumentation. The album was executive produced by Eminem and featured production from Eminem, Malay, WLPWR, and Yelawolf himself.
Aside from the turquoise vinyl, the package offers no additional content. It is the same 18-track album, no outtakes, unreleased material, or live recordings.

However, even this was enough to spark the interest of fans, collectors, and resellers who make a business out of flipping rare merchandise. The shop tried to clamp down on those when it set a “4 per customer” cap on sales. Nevertheless, stock was gone within hours. Everything coming from Shady Records continues to attract strong demand from collectors.
At the same time, fans cannot help but notice that this Anniversary Edition came out more than a year after the actual anniversary. Sure, Yelawolf is not signed to Shady Records any longer, and perhaps the label was in no rush to tie the release to the actual anniversary date. Meanwhile, many fans point out this oversight in disbelief, wondering what might be the reason for such a spectacular delay of a record nobody even expected to see.
Then again, perhaps Shady Records is simply running a year behind. If so, a 15th-anniversary edition of Bad Meets Evil’s Hell: The Sequel might arrive sometime next year.
