Eminem finished 2025 as the most streamed rapper on YouTube worldwide, with over 4.51 billion views to his name.
Even two decades into his career, the numbers show his global fanbase isn’t just intact, it’s growing.
Of those billions of plays, 1.09 billion came from US viewers alone, directly contributing to his chart performance on Billboard throughout the year.
YouTube Views Will No Longer Count Towards Billboard
However, a major change is coming in 2026. YouTube has officially withdrawn its streaming data from Billboard’s chart count. That means YouTube views — no matter how massive — will no longer factor into an artist’s chart placement in the US.
This decision will particularly impact legacy artists like Eminem, whose catalogue continues to thrive on YouTube. His massive visual footprint includes everything from iconic videos like Without Me and Lose Yourself to high-performing lyric videos for new songs like Houdini.
What It Means Going Forward
While Billboard’s new policy reshapes the landscape, Eminem’s presence remains hard to ignore. His reach across multiple platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and TikTok, still places him among the most visible and played artists in the world.
Even without YouTube’s support on the charts, fans are clearly still tuning in.
