Baby Elliot Marshall Attends His First Eminem Concert

Three Generations, One Team: The Shady Family’s Big Lions Day

Detroit got a rare, tender moment on Thanksgiving: three generations of the Shady family arriving together at Ford Field. And for baby Elliot Marshall, Hailie’s son and Eminem’s first grandchild, it was a day of firsts: his first Detroit Lions game, first Eminem concert, and his first lesson in what it means to love this team.

Although the Lions didn’t take the win, the moment still felt historic. The family turned out in full Lions blue, wrapping the stadium’s heavy energy in something warmer. And for fans, it offered a glimpse into Eminem’s private world at a time when his role with the franchise keeps growing.

Baby Elliot’s First Game and First Eminem Show

Hailie, her husband Evan, and baby Elliot arrived in full Lions gear, matching the sea of blue across Ford Field. And yes, Elliot now officially knows the emotional range of being a Lions fan: the joy, the tension, the letdown, the heartbreak, the loyalty.

That’s a lesson his grandfather learned long before he stepped onto the Thanksgiving halftime stage with Jack White. Eminem has been a Lions supporter for decades. He was in the building early, caught on camera entering the stadium with security before heading backstage to prep the show he co-produced.

Because this year’s Thanksgiving performance mattered more than usual. Eminem and Paul Rosenberg have partnered with the Lions to executive-produce the holiday halftime shows through 2027, choosing talent, shaping ideas, and bringing Detroit flavour to one of the NFL’s longest traditions.

So, in a way, Elliot was watching his first Lions game and his grandfather at work at the same time.

A Shady Family Gathering

The day turned into a family reunion.
Alaina attended with her husband, proudly showing her baby bump – more Lions colours, more growing roots.

Nathan Kane Mathers, Eminem’s younger half-brother, whom Marshall legally adopted, arrived with his children as well.

Suddenly, the corridor videos and fan selfies revealed a fuller picture: it is not about Eminem attending a game. It is about the Shady family showing up as a unit. Steady and supportive, Detroit through and through.

And as Elliot grows up, he’ll have more than a famous grandfather. He’ll have a family that models loyalty – to each other, and to the city that shaped them.
