Terence Crawford’s parade in Omaha turned into a star-studded celebration, with Eminem sending a heartfelt video message to the undefeated champ.
Two weeks after his unanimous-decision victory over Canelo Álvarez, Terence Crawford was honoured with a parade through his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. The undefeated boxing star shared the moment with fans, family, and city officials, and got a special message from Eminem himself.
“Bud! Whaddup, champ? Congratulations, man. You did it. I’m so proud of you. You used all my tricks to beat Canelo, just like I showed you”, Em joked in a video message before turning serious. “Unbelievable, bro. All jokes aside, fucking GOAT shit, man. Congratulations, champ. So well deserved. Salute”.
Eminem and Crawford’s bond goes back a couple of years. In 2023, Crawford floated the idea of walking out to one of Em’s songs, and to his surprise, Slim Shady himself jumped into the comments to say how much he admired the fighter. Crawford didn’t miss a beat: “Pull up Em! Let’s do some legendary shit”.
They made it happen. Eminem walked Crawford out for his historic fight against Errol Spence Jr., then later performed during fight night when Crawford beat Israil Madrimov. Now, with another victory and another world title to his name, Crawford received Em’s salute once again.
Crawford is now 42–0, holding belts across four different weight classes and sitting at the top of the pound-for-pound rankings. And judging by Eminem’s ongoing support, the champ has more than just his hometown of Omaha behind him.
