The second most streamed rapper on the platform and the seventh artist across all genres, Eminem has met a significant milestone of 40 billion streams as a lead artist.
The number looks even more impressive if we add over 5 billion streams that come from his features. Still, this particular metric is important enough to single it out and celebrate. According to Chartmasters.org estimations, Marshall retains his position in the Top 10, being the only artist there who started in the pre-streaming era and has albums with over 1 billion streams and higher released in four different decades.
It took Eminem only six weeks to add one new billion streams to his record.
By other parameters shown on the chart, we can see that Marshall’s monthly audience has started receding, and the number of users tuned into his catalogue during the recent 30 days dropped below 73 million. However, he still remains the No.10 artist in the world by this metric.
Also, Em remains the seventh artist on the platform in terms of following. He has over 80.8 billion users subscribed to his page, and the number grows steadily day by day. Marshall’s most recent daily gain in followers was registered at over 22,000. In the previous week, his following increased by around 230,000 new users.
